The first step in the admissions process is a tour. Prospective MCC families, interested in learning more about MCC, may schedule a tour of a campus. Tours should be scheduled at least twenty four hours in advance, as a limited numbers of touring slots are available each day. During a campus tour, prospective MCC families are given a comprehensive facility tour, such that they can begin to develop an understanding of how the Center is structured. Topics covered during a tour include daily schedules, classroom set-up, curriculum, outdoor play area, tuition details etc.
Following the completion of a campus tour, those families who seek to join the MCC community may submit an Application for Admission. Upon receipt, this application will be evaluated by MCC Administrators. As a private institution, MCC considers a variety of criteria and factors in making a determination of whether to admit an applicant.
Following a favorable review of an Application for Admission, the family of the prospective student will be notified, and requested to visit the facility, for the final step in the MCC admissions process. During this visit, MCC will conduct a 15-20 minute Working Interview. During this informal interview time, the applicant will go into an age appropriate MCC class, without their parent, and interact with current MCC faculty and students. This session, similar to a meet and greet, allows MCC to conduct a brief evaluation of the child. Additionally, this classroom visit allows the prospective new student to meet some of their potentially new classmates and teachers.
Within 48 hours after the Working Interview, MCC Administration will inform the family of the applicant as to admission status. Those families who earn entrance, may accept the offer of admission, by returning to the Center to complete requisite documentation and payments. At this time, Center Directors will work closely with the new MCC student and family to coordinate any outstanding details of enrollment.
