Established more than thirty years ago, MCC has grown into Washington Metro area’s leading early childhood educator. MCC has constantly insisted on taking a holistic approach to delivering hands on pre-school education.

Being part of Montessori Children’s Center is truly one of the greatest joys of my life. I come to school each day filled with purpose, knowing I’m part of a community that values the whole child—mind, heart, and spirit.

My passion for early childhood education runs deep. I’ve always believed that the early years are the most important, and I’m honored to guide children during this special time. The Montessori philosophy speaks to everything I value: independence, respect, peace, and the natural joy of learning. Watching children explore, grow, and develop confidence in themselves inspires me every single day.

This school is more than a workplace for me—it’s a second home. I care deeply about our families, our team, and every child who walks through our doors. My goal is to help create a space where children feel safe, loved, and free to become exactly who they are meant to be.

Our oldest is in her second year in the primary program with Ms. Malika and Ms. Nawel. She is intensely curious and eager to help, and they have met her enthusiasm with so much grace and patience. They teach far beyond the academic basics of reading, math, and science—they’ve poured into her social development, manners, and emotional intelligence. She thrives there, and their summer adventure programming has been an absolute blast.

Our youngest spent her early months with the incredible infant team—Ms. Nahida, Ms. Tela, Mrs. Attiya, Ms. Lyna, and Ms. Fatma—and is now confidently transitioning into the toddler room. The milestones she has hit with them are unbelievable: she sings songs, points out her facial features, and is already beginning potty training.

What sets MCC apart is their attention to detail. The teachers notice the subtle shifts that even parents might overlook—spotting early signs of teething or sickness because a child ate one less bite of pizza, or recognizing a change in behavior on the playground. They don’t just watch our kids; they deeply know them.

Our children’s teachers, Mrs. Fatima and Mrs. Tela, are amazing—so loving and committed to their students (my little one absolutely adores them!). They contribute so much to early development, which is so essential for future success. They really set a positive tone for the school, and the whole team is always there to help.

Mrs. Absi, the director, is fantastic. She’s always been incredibly supportive of us as parents and has a real sense of what’s going on with the students. It’s comforting to know that she’s got everything under control, and it gives me a real sense of security. Her leadership creates such a warm and positive environment for both students and staff.

Mrs. Lilian and Mrs. Ola are incredibly supportive, creative, and focused on the academic growth of the children. They truly care about each student’s development, and their energy makes the school such a special place.

I’ve seen consistent growth and progress in my children, and it’s clear that the school is focused on continuous improvement in everything they do. I also really appreciate how open and communicative they are with parents, always keeping me updated on my kids’ progress.

MCC does an incredible job balancing academic excellence with personal care, and I’m so happy with the environment they’ve created. I’d highly recommend MCC to any family looking for a school that genuinely cares about its students.
